The new way of turnning the SC is ground breaking . Lets just hope it delivers on power . 50whp isnt going to cut it . Just like the last one didnt because the lack of power produced and the price to get it .

From what I can tell, HKS basically mimicked the design that Rotrex uses in their superchargers. What killed the first supercharger unit was the sizing of it, which could be their downfall again. Similar to Stillen using the M62, its a unit sized for moderate gains on a stock block not for maximum power. If they had gone with a larger unit and designed the kit accordingly for 500whp, people would've had a totally different perception of it.

The real key is the design lets the input shaft spins so much slower than an equivalent Vortech or ProCharger design while delivering similar airflow. Most of their units spin between 10-15k rpm on the input shaft while the impeller can spin up to 100-200k rpm depending on sizing.

I don't see an update on the site. Just the press release from August 2007. I wouldn't expect any updates until much after SEMA.

No problem. They have a "starter" twin turbo kit as well. Basically manifolds, turbos, and oil pan. You're basically responsible for the rest of the piping, intercooler/s, fuel and engine management. At some astounding 6k price tag for GT25s.
