need help plugging hole in cars oil pan from vortech install...
i apologize wat i am asking is when i installed my vortech supercharger. the oil line coming from the supercharger to the cars oil pan. i need to removed it which i can do but once i remove the oil line from the charger to the cars oil pan i will have a hole i believe its npt 3/8 or something like that in my cars oil pan. now my question is how do i plug that hole?
1.do i weld it shut
2do i get a npt threaded plug

If it is in fact a 3/8 npt thread you would use a brass or S.S. 3/8 npt pipe plug. Wrap the threads with teflon tape and only tighten enough to seal. Overtightening with a tapered pipe plug could crack the material its being screwed into. If this doesn't make sense have a mechanic do it.
