Just came across this pic of the JWT TT kit where they cut a hole in the radiator support. I think I may try this for my Vortech CAI.
Thats pretty much what I did, minus the metal piping. What kind, size of piping are you thinking of using? If you can get some custom piping made to fit let me know and maybe they could do it cheaper if you ordered three. Pablo (red G) and I would both jump on it. Also trying to get that hole to line up with the blower is pretty hard, you can only cut so far. so you will have and angle off the blower to get to the hole then just wrap around. You should be able to fit a 3.5 - 4" hole in that area. Keep me updated.....

I can get 3" aluminum piping from one of our sponsors, Top Speed. I'd probably have to custom cut & weld the bends. I'm thinking of getting a reducer from 3.5" to 3" and then clamp it to the new piping. Once I put my new front bumper on, I'll examine the area to see how I can fabricate it up.
Yeah that would work great. Let me know when you get started working on it.

Does it leave you enough room to take the filter off/out with the bumper all put back together?
all you have to do is remove the grille to get to the intake
I made something kind of like that for my Greddy but tried to stay away from the flex pipe because of the non-smooth inside and turbulence it causes.

That looks good! I just need to get some custom piping made like that.

Can you buy just that part from TN?
^^+1 Still trying to figure out what to do there. So far it seems like buying some custom bends and welding them together.
I just used the silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps. Welds would be better but that I can't DIY!
