It's really refreshing bro. Like I said, Sam called me up at 9pm last night from the shop. He had just finished diagnosing (sp?) the problem with my car. He said it was definitely the SC and since GTM did all of the work on my car, they would take care of all parts and labor to fix the issue and they would deal with Vortech directly.

One other thing I give Sam credit is that he really work long hours... I mean most shop close at 5-6pm and that is it Some shop will have a Mechanic that they have working at night (Like MRC) but the top guys don't stay that late all the time (Understandably coz they have family )

Same thing happened to me with only 300 miles on the kit . I just shipped out the unit today to get fixed under warranty. Downtime of 2-3 weeks FTMFL!

It seems as though this has been more common then usual for new Vortech owners within the last couple of months. I have ran into about 3 other recent threads to where the owners ran into the same problem. Maybe a bad batch of chargers?

G35Asian-I wonder if it is a bad batch of SC's or just a coincidence. I haven't heard of this problem too often but with FI, you are always running the risk of something like this happening. Oh well, hopefully Vortech takes care of both of our issues so we don't have to deal with this inconvenience again.

JJ-It was a bad weekend for me bro. I was sick and my SC went bad. So yeah, you combine both of those things and I decided I needed to stay home Monday.

Damn Hex good luck Bro. I know some people made fun of how much you spent. I see you said you knew you spent more, but Customer service is everything. I'd rather pay more for something if I get treated right. Well as you see modding has ups and downs and well even though you might get it right things happen.. Good thing they stand by thier word.

Hope all is up and running before the BBQ...

Exactly bro. Some people think it's all about doing it the cheapest way possible and cutting corners. That's fine. I could have easily done the same thing and saved a couple thousand but then I would be on my own right now to deal with this. The customer service that I am getting from GTM more than makes up that extra difference that I paid. To me, it was and is more than worth it. I should definitely be up and running by the BBQ. Thanks Lawrence.
