Yes, it would be S I C K!. haha.. but me and Viet are discussing what kind of setup I want to accomplish with certain HP range I have in mind I'm getting a spare non rev up long block from a friend that was gonna use it on his 240sx but instead chose the sr20 route. Definitely going to be a long project down the road. I'm waiting to see Sam's new turbo kit setup for the vq35. As for now, he's focusing on the g37 SEMA project car.

It's a pretty nice exhaust. Were you surprised with the sound level? I was like whoa! I was pretty close to buying your HKS just to have a quieter exhaust for some situations.

Hey Hexx, look at it this way...your SC may have crapped out, but at least SC beat the crap outta Nebraska.

Actually I was very suprised. I had the GReddy Evo exhaust on my Civic back in the day and it sounded nice. Not too loud. This exhaust is a lot louder than I expected.

Like I said I was like WHOA, we fired it up at like 3am and it scared the crap out of me. I don't really recall it getting much quieter either.

A two week turnaround is a bit optomistic. Expect 4 to 6 weeks if you're dealing with Vortech. Maybe a little longer if it's warranty work since those tend to get pushed to the end of the line. Also, expect to do a rebuild every 15 to 20K with Vortech units. That's the nature of the beast. When you hear the metallic marbles, it's rebuild time.

I'm so used to my HKS that it was kind of a shock. But I'm sure once I get used to it, it won't be so bad. I thought my HKS was really loud when I first got it too.

4-6 weeks? Hmmm . . . in the cases that I have heard about and read about, Vortech usually got the SC back in 2-3 weeks. And those were individuals dealing with Vortech. I'm sure a shop like GTM might have a bit more pull and get it through quicker. Sam said at least 2 weeks. I guess we will see.

vortechs crap out all the time... I have a few mustang buddies that have gone through like 4 units each and they arent pushing the limits. They have gotten better in the past few yrs but still **** happens.

4-6weeks isnt bad ATI wanted like 3 months for a rebuild and replacing the carb sticker.

Hey Hexx,

Sad to hear about your SC man.
Don't worry tho, it'll be back up and running soon as possible.
Sam's a good cat.
