hey Hex are u planning to do any of the pully mods to prevent slip? As in either the timrod mod or the one triji just did?

Those don't really apply to our cars Mike. The pulley set up for the RevUp engine is different from the way it is on the non-RevUp engines. From my understanding, the timrod mod only applies to the non-RevUp motors. I'm not sure what Triji did though so I can't say about that. GTM already did a little bit of machining to one of my pulleys anyways to minimize slip.

I'm brownsing the forums and I see mike reply to this thread and Im like ehh hopefully mike's sc didnt go bad and didnt think of it.. then I see hector post and im like "damn i gotta click on this"

ahh i have a non revup :P So I guess i will look into it..

My bad. I thought you had the RevUp. Yeah, you should definitely look into the timrod mod. Doesn't GTM also have a similar mod to help against belt slippage?? You should ask Sam.

Damn! 7 weeks??? That's really unacceptable bro. Did you send it in or do you have a shop dealing with Vortech?? GTM is dealing with Vortech in my case and they gave him a much smaller time frame.

My car is at the shop so I am not driving it right now.

street image another shop that deals with G/z deals with vortech direct as well. Sam worked on my car before but i have better repore with SI so i have been taking my car to them for 2 years now. believe me i hate not having boost but what to do? its free so cant complain. I have been driving my s2k more. man i love that freaking go cart.....

lets hook up when you get your **** back on ... im curious to see how your set up is... i have dropped my filter down buy my IC for a "cold air" cars pulls alot harder in the 4500-6000 range.

What? That is not going to happen to me, let me tell you that. I will fly to Vortech myself and make them fix it in front of me if thats the case. Actually, that reminds me, I'm going to call them to check up right now
