Stillen SC + NOS
Stillen SC + NOS
Has anyone tried this yet?
Three things come to my mind:
(1) Is there a problem with "cold" shocking the twin screw rotors from the NOS?
(2) Fuel Distribution even through a supercharger (which is already adding fuel in the form of wet injection before supercharger via 7th injector)?
(3) Coating on rotors? Effect of NOS/FUEL? (I guess fuel is okay seeing how 7th inector is already putting fuel on twin screws)... though at SEMA I asked Eaton and they said that they would be afraid of fuel eating or wearing away the seal/spray that they coat the twin screw rotors with before installation and "pre-spin" unit to make a perfect seal...)
I was thinking of adding a 50 shot wet Nos on top of the Stillen Supercharger but was not sure if fuel will distribute correctly with a supercharger sitting on top.
I have done 50-70 Wet nos shot on other vehicles that are Turbo or NA but have never had a supercharger before.
I know WET NOS is generally okay for distribution within limited small HP injection application. I am not looking for big power via NOS, just a little boost for kicks!
What are your guys' thoughts and input?

I had a 55 shot on a stage three kit for about a year. It worked awesome for a while. Started burning a ton of oil, then dyno'd with 300whp. I knew something was wrong, so I pulled the motor for a build. The pistons literally fell out of the block. The rings were sooo toast.
that is all cause of your tune. we have many many turbo and nitrous or supercharger and nitrous cars that are running strong.
a 55 shot of nitrous is a lot of power to add without even fuel distribution, i am sure it would fry the rings due to the amount of heat it would see.
if you do it with a utec, you can add fuel using the injectors so its evenly distributed....
