Me too. I like the exhaust and exhaust choices better on the coupe. I liked the coupe seats so much I now have a set.

Color is the same either way = black.

Only the 07 Sedan guys have the right to call a G37 a fatass, since the weight difference between the 1st generation Coupe & Sedan is insignificant.

Also, what makes you think the sedan has "better balance" than the coupe?

As far as the original post: I think the OP needs to open up a little, because people with needs of a sedan can still have fun & make what they wish with their cars. Personally, if I needed a sedan, I would still mod the hell out of it

.
2005 models:

Weight:

Coupe: 3486
Sedan: 3468

http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...niti-g35-3.htm

Weight distribution:

Coupe: 54/46

Sedan: 53/47

http://infinitihelp.com

Overall Width:

Coupe: 71.5"

Sedan: 69.0"

OK, it's not much, but it's there.

Do you really think people who buy sedans do it because they couldn't afford a coupe? Check out some of the mods many FI sedan owners have put into their sedans (TTrank for one), then tell me they couldn't have paid for a coupe if they wanted one - Please!

If you think the stock sedan is fugly - fix it; many of us did...

I know. But do you know how hard it is to find a reasonably priced black G near me? The Owners are stuburn(sp?) with atleast a price of $22k for an 03-04 with high milage. I love your seats but I was looking on riversides parts online and I think I found the seat, about $1600. What did you pay for yours? If you dont mind.
Thanks!

I went on my Infiniti website the other night (www.infiniti.com) and there was a box that said "what is my car worth?". I filled out all the boxes and it said $13K. Yeah right. An 05' MT6 sport sedan with everyting but navi. I don't think so.

Tim’s car kicks @ss... but don’t forget Gurgen is the original sick @ss FI sedan - that car has gone through some insane transformations and has hauled @ss from day 1 (I mean literally, he's a pioneer).

Also, you can do “it” in the back seat of a sedan... a coupe? nah... Funny though, I haven’t done “it" in my car - GFs van is better

Some sedans were paid off 6 months after taking possession (gives me more mad mod money )

Can’t afford a coupe Sorry my coupe bros, I'd buy a 350Z if I was going 2 doors.

it got moved to FI!!!!

for those of you "real" FI readers... some retard asked why G sedans would consider FI /(it started in the sedan forum)

This thread really belongs in "off topic" (since there is no "trash bin" thread).

So I guess your next statement will be "The sedan can out perform the coupe on a road race track". Until you make this statement I will hold my comments on this subject.....well just a little comment...

Have you ever asked yourself ...why is it that on the coupe you can just slap on a 305 x 25 x 20 in the rear with 11" rims and on the sedan that's not possible? Hmmm. I wonder what Nissan was thinking... Have you ever wondered why all the top handling cars have a wide stance...Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo? Hope you get my point.

BTW....I have driven both on their test track in AZ. The 03 models(coupe and sedan) to the 06.

And my reason for purchasing the coupe over the sedan was because of the following and support it carried in Japan and the US ( same support the Supra gets)..Sedan owners are always begging for coupe parts to be made for their cars. I did not want to have to deal with that.

As far as boosting the sedan...why not? The BMW M5 crowd does it !!

until I read your sig I was ready to drive a few hundred miles to AZ to put it to a test...

Put up your best (stock-build) N/A G MT coupe against me... and I'd put Tim and/or Gurgen AT sedan against you...

Road Course and Drag... times averaged... I'm willing to bet sedans come out on top.

Edit: OOOOPPPPSSSS.... Neither are AT. Gurgen swapped (mo longer AT) and Tim never has been AT... Anyway - challenge is still on!

Do you really believe that I think the Sedan is faster than the Coupe? I did that as a joke and to bring out the trolls, it worked.

I am glad you have so much faith the the sedan...but when tested...thats not the results we came up with...I wont turn this into a debate about coupe vs sedan...because this would be OT.
