seriously.. why? I'd love FI on a coupe or a z, but i cannot see the justification to put it on a sedan. I think that the most that should be done modwise with a sedan is cosmetic- I refuse to even put on an intake. why do we drive sedans? familys?(do u really need boost with jr in the backseat?) hand me downs?(can't afford a car, but u're gonna get a turbo kit?) for me personally its the love for the nissan z and the need for something quiet, comfortable, and not a pig magnet. I think the sedan is very capable and has enough horse power.. and withthe speed limits and laws, why boost your car and get tempted to break the law ...Stock- i think the sedan is fugly, but with the kit, drop and wheels, alarm and stereo.. why waste any more $$$?

Some people like sedans, so why not? If you think that only aesthetic mods should be done on the sedan, then that's your opinion, other people may feel differently.

I love fast sport sedans. I like the blend of sportscar performance, luxury, and utility. Everyone expects coupes and sportscars to be fast, but few expect to get their butt handed to them by a 4 door. I've had my fast 2 dors in the past and I can tell you that having quick sedans (though slower), is FAR more fun. All out speed isn't all that it's cracked up to be because there will always be someone with way more money to make their thier car way faster than yours. With a sedan, you don't feel like you have to be keeping up with the Jone's.

If had a lot of money (talking a couple million), I wouldn't mind turboing my G35. I'd keep it basically the way it is which is subtle on the outside. I'd put on some staggered rims with 9" wide rims out back and serious meat (damn near race spec or DRs). The interior would have the Z seats swapped in the front. The 5AT would be built up with the Titan 5AT peices. Under the hood would be a fully built 3.5 with a 9:1 compression and a single turbo. Nothing extravagent though. I'd want driveability over HP. I'd want a fat powerband. I'd shoot for around 350-400whp and close to the same in torque. Power would be routed to thick-walled 3" single pipe catback with an OEM style muffler to keep noise down. Just aft of the muffler would be a dump tube for the track. On slicks, I'd think this setup would be good for mid 12s@110mph. That's acceptable to me. I'd project the costs to do it right would be around $20K.

Seriously, why not?

To each their own. Stick around here awhile and you'll see a wide variety of opinions - many of which won't match yours.

Like mine about your use of the the word 'PIG" for instance. Those who don't offer respect for differing opinions can hardly expect to receive it.

Check out some Bimmers. The M5 has 4 doors too

Some if us actually prefer the sleeper look and feel of a sedan over the coupe... you might as well try to argue that a manual tranny in a sedan or any entry level luxury car is worthless too.

Exactly what I was thinking, M5 FTW. What's this guy thinking about a boosted sedan will tempt you to speed but a boosted coupe or Z won't, where's the logic???

OK, to each their own...

But, some people love the sedan. Not because they have a family but because it is a sexy car. Yes, I have a family but they are not with me every day, I'm by my self in my car a lot.

Plus, just because I have kids I now have to give up owning a fun, fast car?!? Who ever made that a rule? Guys with a family can't go to the drags or track days from time to time?

I got my car for me and did everything to it for me. I love it and would not change it...

4 door cars:

Evo
STi
335i
M5
CTS-V
S65AMG
...
...
...
etc.

So like I said, to each their own but don't bash me just because I have a twin turbo sedan that can eat 98% of the other cars on the road (straight line or corners) and still watch movies on 3 tv's and seat 5 easy.

I love my car, you don't have to.
