G35 Sedan w/ fully built motor, cams, HKS standalone.
I just shipped my G35 Sedan to GT motorsports last night after only having it back from the shop about a week. The motor will now have a fully built block with cams, valves, springs, and the whole works. GT said they have 4 built motors that need to be completed before mine. That means it will be a long wait. Once the motor is built I will increase boost to 10psi daily driver, and have a second map with 12psi for track and higher octane fuel. I have 365WHP at 7psi w/ stock internals before the rebuild.
What do you guys predict for horsepower numbers after the rebuild.

hmmm I was pushing 410 @ 7 psi with all stock internals thats why I only say 400s.... could be wrong though

These are my mods so far... Also you must consider I have a sedan that is stock 260HP at the front.. So that makes me about 25HP less than you to start with. Also I have a automatic which will drop HP numbers. Pulling 365WHP at 7psi is damn good. The kit originally comes w/ 8psi and gives you 412HP at the front; about 330WHP; and I am running less boost than stock.

No I could not wait any longer... Figured why not just build it now, why wait till it blows.

Your question is a bit one dimensional here, but I'll reply as best as I can...
With 12 PSI on a fully built motor, which i'm assuming includes forged internals, better valvetrain, etc.. you could potentially see 450 rwhp without a problem.
If you run 14.7 PSI (one full bar) with a very well tuned/built motor you could potentially see close to 500 rwhp again, without too much problem. I believe anything past 500 rwhp and you'll begin to need some more aggresive cams, more machine work, more boost, bigger turbo, etc... and some race fuel.
I've yet to see a 1000 rwhp 350Z or G35, but I'm sure it could happen. The RB26DETT motor is capable of 1000 awhp without alcohol injection if that means anything :P too bad the VQ itself doesnt quite live up to expectations of the previous RB motors.

Can you post a dyno of your sedan at 410WHP at 7psi. And is it a twin turbo or supercharger?
