I can't speak for every car... as you cannot either.

BUT - I will take the challenge (with my car)... and have faith in the FI sedans I mentioned as well.

The "Coupe vs Sedan" - "MT vs AT" myth has got to be put to rest at some point... I know a few that have opened their eyes... maybe all should?...

I think the sedan is very capable and has enough horse power.. and withthe speed limits and laws, why boost your car and get tempted to break the law ...Stock- i think the sedan is fugly, but with the kit, drop and wheels, alarm and stereo.. why waste any more $$$?

And not because I own a sedan, but because you're an idiot.

Wow, a lot of sedan versus coupe hate. I thought we were brothers and sisters in the same family.

Thanks!

Yeah for that price I would have gone aftermarket and given up the heat, airbags and TV's.

I got mine local for $500.

Yes I could not agree more. He has some insane engine mods and does not get all the credit he deserves for all his (and Sam's) hard work!

I will be the first to say that a sedan can be as fast or faster than a coupe with the right work.

The 03/04's were a decent amount lighter and had better weight balance. 05/06 were much closer.

There is no need to put 305's on the rear just for a track day. A good set of road race tires in a 275 or 285 are more than enough for 99% of the drivers. Plus they are lighter and anyone who knows unspring weight knows how much just a few lbs can change things.

If you did the same mods to a coupe and sedan then took them to the track with the same driver, the sedan would have a better chance of winning.
That is assuming that they have quite a few mods. As we all know the coupe sits lower and is wider so stock to stock it can more than make up for the weight and win at the road track.

I love both the sedan and coupe. Yes it is true that many of us sedan guys want coupe parts for their cars. The coupe has a much larger aftermarket following with way more stuff. If APR made a widebody kit for my car it would be on today!

So wich is better? NEITHER! It all comes down to what the buyer wants. We can sit around and fight about small performance differences all day but a good driver makes up for all that and more...

I wanted a sedan so I got a sedan. I wanted a fast @ss sedan that has the looks and ICE to keep up so I did it. If I had wanted a coupe I would have made it work and gotten one.

To each their own. We are all G drivers and no one here is better than anyone else.

FYI - it wasn't me who closed this thread. I just don't want you guys to think I got in my last word and closed it. There have been a number of other sedan vs coupe threads out there so I can see why it was closed.
