Got A problem.....Supercharger internals went bye bye tonight

Had a long night tonight...drove over to the wednesday night meet we have here locally and went out with a couple of the cars down George Bush Service road..took one good hit on the car and the supercharger went out..the internals are not spinning...and its making a loud whining noise..

anyhow thought i would share how exciting of a night this was....Let me know your thoughts everyone...If any others who have had this problem please post up your thoughts and what they did to fix it..I dont think my kit is under warranty anymore either....Blah..I will have to look over my papers.

Yeah i checked both belts and both belts are still moving but when you get on the throttle they dont take off which would mean something with inside the bell housing.

I would def stop driving asap. it sounds like some thing is jammed in there. I would rip it out and inspect to see if you can hear something ratteling around.

posted a few things on the other thread in DFW, but I'll chime in here. When you say the belts are moving, they spin just like normal. But then when you're in the car and you hit the gas, the car drives like normal but it doesn't build any boost correct?

Check for a loose coupler/pipe. I blew off a coupler before which caused me to build zero boost. The coupler was still attached but moved off the bead of the pipe, so boost would creep out.

Does the SC make the typical whiney noise? If so, then the insides should be working.

Yeah its making the same whining noise but when I hit the gas the Blow-off valve sounds like its trying to release but there isnt enough pressure to open it.

Sounds just like an IC pipe came off. Hope it's nothing serious.
