The FMU raises fuel pressure as boost is sensed. If the line from the passenger side turbo to the FMU is disconnected the fuel pressure will not rise. Have you don't any work in the battery compartment lately?

I've seen people inadvertently disconnect this without knowing what it was.

Besides going back to Cali late last month to get a re-tune, nothing has been done to the car since early January when the valve body was put in. I haven't touched the battery compartment or any wiring at all.

How accessible is this wire?

I can't even here my walboro, but usually a whining noise from previous experience.

Def. not a VB issue as stated before, mine did the bogging but only when it rained and we figured it out a month ago, turns out the wiring to the Fcon was uncovered and the water messed with the signal

I don't really trust any shops here in Vegas to do anything, but say I was to take it somewhere for them to look at, what should I tell them to do?

Either you're getting too much air or you're getting too little fuel. I'd bet there's an intake leak but you're going to have to do some detective work. I would first check to see what the stock widebands and MAF are reading using Cipher. Checking your injector duty cycle would probably be a good idea too while your logging parameters. Also any CEL codes?

The GTM 5at built tranny drives like a dream for anyone considering an upgrade...

EDIT: O/T Urban that's an ungodly amount of torque compared to HP, probably because of your exhaust. I know you don't want to switch it out, but you could consider swapping in a revup lower plenum to help balance that out a little bit. Cheap mod to even out the torque curve (trade peak tq for high end hp)

Thanks rc.

How do I go about checking all those? I don't really have any tools at my disposal for something like that, unless I took it somewhere.

I'm not going to do a built tranny, I'm going to go for a 6MT swap, I'm sick of this auto.

For simple checks.

Fuel pressure gauge at the sending unit by the plenum, disconnect the vacuum line off the passenger side turbo, turn the car on. Put pressured air into the vacuum line. This will trigger the FMU to raise fuel pressure. If it doesn't go up there's something not right about the line to the FMU or possibly fuel pump.

The 530s come with a 190, I think it was Quadcam or Sentry that posted a test to see how much fuel the Walbro was pumping. A bad fuel pump was determined with his testing.

Logging the info rcdash is good info to know.

Cipher is the best $400 I ever spent. Osiris for $700 may be well worth it (to additionally allow reflashes at will - and it includes Cipher). It's going to be a PITA to Dx without either a consult II or Cipher (other than manually poking around looking for leaks). If you have a CJM fuel system - there should be a pressure gauge in the engine bay.

NO 6MT damnit!

CALL CHRIS and see him gdamnit.

If need be, we can go pick up a quick FP gauge. I have the adapter for one in my car already.

There is a fuel problem. There HAS to be. Be it stuck/f cked injectors, fuel pump, or something.

Thanks Rookie and Rc, I appreciate it.

And Stan, I'm going to do it. And he has done it before, so its not going to be the first time. Its only a little more than a built tranny, so there's no reason not to.

Make sure you get a version 9 6MT - not an older design.

Will do

Where can I get a cipher? Do you mind explaining to me what exactly it does and how it works? Sorry, I just don't know these things yet
