None of the turbo kits are CARB legal.

Your only choices are the Vortech or Stillen SC.

OBD2 emissions checking varies from state to state. In NC, they plug it in and if you are throwing no codes, you are usually good to go. As for the visual inspection, depends on if they do it or not.

I have read of a few people getting automatic passes to their car because they were too low to go over their rollers and they didn't want to lose money.

The act per se of changing anything from engine port thru the final cat is illegal under the Federal Clean Air Act.
Presenting for a test is attempted Fraud, passing a Test is Fraud unless you pay for and pass a CARB LAB TEST which can take weeks and costs $20,000+

Selling a Fraudulent Passing vehicle create a fraudulent transfer which means that a future owner can sue you [years later] and with the states help find you and force you to return the vehicle to oem correct.............pay the costs.

To spite them what about me and the others in US/World.
I think states should sell a special vehicle pollution stamp say an extra $3,000 per year and you can spew out any vile noxious chemicals you want.
Just as with a $10,000 FED stamp you can own a machine gun.

Just because your state has no testing doesn't exempt you from violating FEDERAL LAW............just makes it harder to get caught unless you provide too much info on the INET or telephone or somehow attract the EPA.
