I just relax and punch it and go!!! But if i had a chance, of course I got 6mt, but I'm settle with a 5AT, and I'm not mad at all. Freeways are less stressful when there's traffic also. I can't wait till GTM gives me my car back, the shop I got my charger installed at BUSTED A VRT on me! Except VRT did it on purpose!!! Fvcking idiots! Ended up wasting 17k on my project where it should of been way less gRrRrRr.....
That sucks about your car man, sorry to hear that!

Well see thats the difference between us I guess, of course I'll punch it on the streets almost everyday but I really want to start getting into going to the track (road course, not 1/4). I really don't care for drag racing, and just the feeling of being in a MT feels so much better!

That's exactly the best way to go from 5AT to 6MT. I've had this conversation with a few of our customers before.

Personally, I still can't get over how fun the 5AT is....a little power goes a long way!

Yea, it's still fun but riding in a few of my friends N/A cars which are 6MT's, it almost feels faster..

I guess you have everything under control now You will love a 6MT especially on long driving. I always feel like I'm going to fall asleep driving an Auto on a long driving. With stick all I have to do is start downshifting and my blood start to flow!!! You cant beat the feeling when you double clutch or revmatch to downshift I've been a MT guys since forever so I'm bias

Yes I did, spent 9k at 1 shop, figured out it wasnt running correctly and I wanted to install new stuff too, but it will have to be at a new shop, car got in, turns out big problems, old shop f*cked my car up, added that onto new things i installed, thats where I'm at on the costs. I only spent around 2kish for repairs.

You should have just gone to GTM from the beginning bro. Oh well, live and learn.

Good luck Canadian - another option is to sell it all once you find someone selling a boosted 6MT.

Paddle shifters with a built 5AT FTW though ...

how much would a trade in be? wouldn't that also end up being about 3-4k too? or unless you're getting a straight up trade?

good stuff man. i was in your shoes but this was back in 99. i bought a 98 Prelude at that time was a nice car. i did the swap from AT to 5spd. first one done and got in SCC mag out of it. that was then i couldnt image how much it would run for the G35. Good luck with getting your manual.

Thanks. I'd rather have a manual for 3-4k than a built auto, so why not?
