Next week i shoudl be able to do the brakes and suspension swap. One step closer to 6 speed. BTW you still codrivin my car sunday.

Well, it looks like this isn't gonna be happening. It was a great idea to begin with but I just really don't feel like putting forth the effort. Too much time and money I'd rather put into something else (the motor!! ). Tranny build coming soon....5AT FTMFW! lol

build your transmission and stick with the auto. Also, get your motor built and call it a day. If you want an MT car, buy and MT car to begin with. If you want an MT G35, rip everything off your car and purchase a MT G, and then you'll be perfect. Doing the AT to MT swap really just sounds dumb to me. 6k for a weak transmission? lame

I wasn't going to do a tranny swap, I was goign to take everything off and swa out cars. Just an FYI

I thought about this before, but decided to stick with the 5AT and build it. After we worked out all the idiot crank sensor issues, the tranny is unbelievable. Be warned though, a built auto trans is not for the feint of heart. It bangs into every gear at more than 25% throttle. I love it though
