Going TT soon, keep HFC's or go with TP?

Cool, so I can bet up to 450/500whp on the OEM rims with the right tires and a built motor, right?
I've heard you can take the JWT 530BB kit up to almost 500rwhp on a built motor...that may be my option.
Thanks guys,
Brian

I have a set of oem 19's as spares for my sedan.
Before it went in for the built motor it was only making 405whp.
My car could not get traction at all with the oem rears and 245's...
You need wider wheels and tires for that kind of power or it will all go to waste.

I tried FastIntentions metallic HFC with a JWT 700bb kit (and FI 2.5" dual exhaust) - and the curve went to crap at about 12 psi - and even there the car would make only about 420 whp (on Sharif's DD). Switching to APS 3.5" test pipes made a world of difference. But test pipes STINK. No 2 ways about it. If you park in a garage - yuck - my kids complained to no end and they drove me nuts.
Now I'm putting in 3.5" 200 cell metallic cats (custom fabbed into the 3.5" APS test pipes). I will likely lose power - but that's the way it goes. Low 500's whp on Sharif's dyno on pump gas is enough for me for now...

Just as a point of clarification to put XKR's #s in reference...
His car is going to be insane. I may have to have that race fuel tune, just to hang but we'll see if Sharif can find the time...

Race tires can only do so much at that width. Plus they wear out so much faster. With that kind of power you need to go wider, there is no way around it...
I have eagle F1's on mine:

These are close to race tires as-is and have traction issues at 405...

The oem 19's are my spares.
My daily driver wheels are 20" iForged Aeros 20x8.5 and 20x10 with 245/35 and 275/30's. Even with a 3.3VLSD swap for better traction 1st gear and most of 2nd are useless when you get on it hard.
