New Edelbrock System
Did anyone see the recent article outlining the installation and testing of a new Dry nitrous system by Edelbrock (see atchaed link). The system is adjustable offering three different stages. The 125HP tune-up produced 352whp@5463 and 344 lb-ft torque@5275. I e-mailed Edelbrock to get the part number (71007) and they indicated that it should be available withinthe next few days.
My car (with all of 540 miles on it) will be taking it's initial passes down the track tomorrow night (I plan to make back to back passes to get real track data comparing the stock times, to the times after installing a K&N filter and Z-tube). The next testing session will involve trying the new system from Edelbrock.

Re: New Edelbrock System
Nice setup. At nearly 33 yrs. old, I'm not exactly in the Fast & Furious poser crowd (thankfully). But I do have to admit that I've thought about nitrous for my coupe. I'd like to stay NA, but cost and a greedy need for more power might have me hitting the bottle (in light of not wanting to go FI).
I have been considering possible installation locations and line routes that would allow a hidden setup using a couple of Sneaky Pete bottles or something a tad larger.![Wink](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

The rpm activated window switch would be a good addition. The switch will allow you to preset the rpm that you want the system to activate and the rpm that you want the system to shut off. The nmu by itself is designed to activate at wide open throttle no matter what the rpm. The window switch will allow the system to activate at wide open throttle but only in a preset rpm range. This way you cannot activate the system at too low of an rpm and the system will not be active if you over rev the engine. If you have any other questions feel free ot contact us at 1-888-817-1008.

just passing on the info... getting ready for my install.

Re: MSD Window Switch
Update to my above post on the window switch.
That was/is a current production "analog" window switch that requires "pills"
Here is a link to the new digital one (MSD part no 8969)that does not require pills. It is about $75 ($10 more) and is frequently on backorder. Link is to the MSD page, as Summit racing does not have a pix.
