2-3 lbs? There has to be more to the story. I highly doubt your issues are due to an improper tune at this point; Mike and Jeremy know what they are doing.

First off I dont know why you did not send your car to Sound Performance....That dyno sheet should have been your first hint to drag your car out of that shop.

$400 for Spark plugs?????Do I have to get the "FI Regulators" to look into this???? $160 the most with install.

As the economy gets worst...you all better know what the hell you are doing before you take your car to any shop...You better come on here or my350z and ask for help.

BTW...unless you have a widebody kit...I am sure you are not running 19 x 13 rims.
Anyway...good luck...from the looks of things you will need it.

Interesting...which shop is the dyno sheet from?

i checked a recent invoice and plugs from AAM were $9.95 each so I dunno, so unless the OP wants to post up the invoice I think there's something being left out of that story.

alright i double checked the invoice and the 400 included other crap. the plugs where a lil over 100.00. As for the tune, I have to call them back about why they told me 340 hp, but the invoice said not to run more than 2-3 lbs (prob due to plugs) the rims I found out werent 13, but 10.5 i believe. ( I was told custom 13s by the original shop who put the car together. I thought I corrected that in the old post.) Im not trying to be BS here, Im just learning alot about high end tuning and Im pretty much a novice. I was screwed over by RS motors in Minnesota, so now I am very leary about my baby. I love this car, and only want the best for her. Any help or advice is HIGHLY appreciated.

looks like they charged you 2.5 hours for install at $99/hr to chance those plugs, when it take no more than 30min to do it

they also charged you $17.80 in shop supplies, which i have no idea what for. maybe for the techs lunch?

another thing, they charged you $16.39 for each spark plug, when those are regular NGK plugs. the Iridium one which are better are $9 a piece

still doesnt make sense bout only running 2-3 psi

looks like a rip off all around

Post this on my350z, the AAM guys are always on there

lets see what they have to say bout all this

Thanks for the update.

Don't listen to all the crap on here because there is definately no issue with your car being in "bad hands", AAM does quality work and you've got a decent tune now. Pricing may be a bit steep but you aren't getting "screwed over" by any means. Replace the plugs when you get the car back yourself then pump up the boost. You'll be at 400Whp in no time!

Good luck

Alright I looked at that invoice and it does seems like you were hit with $363 in plug changing. WOW. I realize a shop has to make money, but that seems extreme to me.

Amazon Amazon

Almost $11 on amazon.... If you're going to bitch about $30.00 you shouldn't be FI in the first place. LAbor may or may not be another issue. But parts? Jeezus. If I really cared about a $5 difference in a part I'd be driving a honda not a G and if I cared about labor I'd be doing it myself.

Good luck
if JT did the tunning, which i doubt since he just got there, then OPs car is in good hands

if not, i would take it somewhere else or wait till JT gets to tune it

and ask for a detail explanation of why you can only run 2-3 psi

it doesnt matter, the point in the OP need to do his homework on the stuff he's getting so he doesnt get ripped off like this

who cares what kinda car you drive, just cause you have a G doesnt mean you have to pay more for parts at one place when they are way cheaper else where
