Just wondering how easy/hard this would be. Thinking about sending off my blower to get chromed/anodized/goldplated/sometihng different.

 

Yeah, I think OldVFRGuy did it. . .but I can't remember what name he switched his screenname to. He had his powdercoated red.

edit: I think his name is Brando now.

 

Doing that might hurt the blower as it could act as an insulator and trap the heat in there. Which is why you don't spray paint your intercooler, you have the get these special coatings so it dissipates the heat properly.

 

i had mine done and they effed up the seal and i spewed oil everywhere. had to send the blower to vortech to get fixed. pain in the ***

 

I think I may just do the front snail portion, which I think should be removable w/o issues w/ seals and bearings.
