Did the install today, thanks to mike, danny, and earnest for the greatly needed help . Temps are solid and holding, I need to reinstall my purge valve, I lost it way back when I did the motor.

Comparing to how much is removed in my car isn't really fair though versus a stock car, since I have a bunch of extra stuff, pipes, lines etc. I think mike has some pics, but I'm thinking they probably weren't too great since like quadcam says, you can't see crap. But we'll see whenever mike can post the pics. If he does, please forgive how dirty everything is.. lol.

However the main point, now when I need to work in my turbo piping, behind the motor, and if I want to install some more stuff in the front of the motor, theres a crapload of more room.

Next up, anything related to evap delete

^Andrew, do you still need the D-Spec adjuster? I found it about three weeks ago and was thinking about you. Let me know and I'll get it out to you.

Install when good, it def clean up some of the crap shoved in to a 5lbs bag. There must be at least 7 hoses that went to the crap pile. I cant wait to do this on my car, but I am going to wait until the motor is out doing the turbos.

how hard was changing out the rear pipe? that one nut is tough to get to!

also, I would recommend drillign and tapping the thermostat housing for a 3/8" NPT plug to get rid of the nipple and rubber cap. Those caps have a tendancy to get hard and brittle over time...eventually splitting and leaking!

thanks quad for the post. Yeah the bolt on the passenger side (bottom of the pipe) was the hardest one to get off. The back 4 bolts werent bad. 2 on the driver side from the top and the 2 on the passenger from the bottom (on the lift). but yes it is agreed to change the thermostat out. We will be drilling and tapping for a pipe plug or possibly some sort of burp valve.

Wow, thats a lot of sh*t. Would you recommend this to people living in cooler climates? I'm in the Midwest so I will drive until the first snow fall which is like Nov. Temps at this time can be as low as 20 degrees. Then she goes into hibernation till spring in April. It seems to me that the engine would warm quicker without the extra lines and the thermostat would also not adjust as much.
