50 shot or 75?
50 shot or 75?
been looking around for a nitrous wet kit but dont really know if whether to go with a 50 shot or 75 shot. i dont really want to hurt my engine that much. want to stay on the low side but if theres not much more risk bumping up from a 50 to a 75 shot then i would prefer to go with a 75 shot
and would 130 lbs of trq be enough to break anything? i dont want to mess up anything. just looking for something to make the car a little faster on the track ;] (drag race not autocross lol)

130 extra lb/ft will certainly exceed the 5AT specification of 333 lb/ft max by about 20%. This will translate into a shorter life expectancy, how much is unknown. Depends on the number of tanks and the tune.
The question is are you prepared to spend $5,500+ for a replacement transmission sooner than 150,000 miles or are you sensitive enough to gauge when to sell the car before the the 5AT fails and how much extra will you loose if any?
In our prebuy inspections we look for telltale signs [drill holes] where NO2 tanks could have been mounted.

75 shot is best of both worlds, safe yet still pretty good power. SAFE is only when you do it right. Do it right, and buy my nitrous kit i'm selling
75 wet shot nitrous express with purge kit. All you need is one step colder plugs and some switch/buttons and you're good to go.

For how much I have pushed my stock tranny- 8psi on a greddy kit- made at one point 410 torque at around 3000rpms...(for close to a year with no tranny upgrade) I really wouldn't worry about hittin the button when you want/need it. Just as always you gotta pay to play- so don't be surprised if it happens.
Make sure you get it done right- ask Japtrix 561-881-8801, they'll take care of you.
I'm sure jeremey @ perf factory would take good care of ya too- he's just in orlando :/

Is it safe for 100 rwhp or 100 crank? Since some companies rate their shots at whp and some rate theirs at crank. I know a popular brand, dynotune is rated at the crank, so when people say 100 shot is safe, do are you guys saying 100 crank or whp.
HP is just a mathematical correction of torque, so a worthless value unless HP is speced at a specific rpm. Meaningless otherwise!
Since every car has a different frictional loss from flywheel to tires and the road impossible to ACCURATELY spec gain in a rear wheel value.
