Something is very wrong with my car- Take a listen

I'd appreciate anyone who has a good amount of exp troubleshooting cars to take a listen so I can get some kind of idea.

It's VERY HARD to tow my car- and I'm very afraid to drive it.
These are my thoughts (im pretty clueless actually)

Prob isn't a blown motor cuz it still runs and revs just fine-- (ran PERFECT this afternoon) [always runs the best before it breaks right?]

Could be some kind of ECU issue? Doesn't seem likely- seems like a physical problem but the almost violent shaking/vibrations I'm getting-- there was a little leakage by the HKS:iS harnesses a while ago

I just came up with the idea- it seems like the exhaust is quieter than normal- suggesting there is some kind of blockage from all the carbon that just gets blasted into this old exhaust. (stillen)
But it would have to be before the cutouts (right at the end of my test pipes) because it still happens when they are open or closed.

Take a listen- And please respond with likely causes... Unelss its a blown VQ-- then i dont wanna hear it JP

I'm staying positive :/

if you mean water leakage then check where the grommet is that your factory harness feeds through. its under the plastic panel directly below the pass side windshield.

There are some wires fed through mine and when I washed my car one day water leaked onto my ecu and the car would not start at all. i had to pull the ecu out and dry it with a hair dryer then it ran again.

Make sure you silicone any holes that you poked to run wires, water drains there

after watching the video it sounds like its running on 5 cyl, that would be why its shaking violently.

take a video of it inside the engine compartment, it almost sounds like rod knock from the inside

Yeah- I had a few 2nd cyl misfiring codes before- I'll take another video tomorrow.

Can I drive it to my mechanic on 5 cyl???

I took care of the hole a month ago.

yeah u r running on 5.. u need to either take it to dealer or a tuner.. but this has to be done asap.. as in the next time u start ur car needs to be cuz ur taking it somewhere to be worked on.. when you do this though do not drive hard and have a friend follow you.. also keep an eye on ur gauges while youre going.. pull the car over and turn it off right away if something goes worse..

dude.. it might just be the coil on that certain cylider or it might be the fuel injector.. have the shop check ur ignition and fuel system.. I mean why build ur block if that's not the problem? if it is ignition try ODAKA.. its about $1,000 but so worth it..

Sounds like the motor is knocking a little bit. Does it sound like a clanking sound when you accelerate?

+1, on my maxima all the misfiring issues were due to bad coils. you can go to the auto parts store and purchase a spark tester for the cylinder the misfire code came up for. it's like 15 bucks, and what you do is pull that coil out and stick this tester in and it should light up if it's getting spark. if it is you may just have a fouled plug. you might wanna just go get plug and swap all them out and see what happens first. if that doesn't fix it get one of the spark testers

I wouls agree that start small then work big, check the plugs and spark, then if that is good then could be a rod going.
