u should just get a cat so u can have more back pressure for that blower =)

does that sound right?

you're right man, with my Borla Headers I am actually capable of gaining more power possibly if going back to stock, not much hp though if anything. But your back pressure information is correct, and to the O.P get HIGH FLOW CATS Kinetix? No problem, I'm running Kinetix

get rid of those HFC's. go straight pipes. or at least a HFC thats the same inlet and outlet as your headers/exhaust.

If I had to do it over [ I sold off the custom Vortech ] I would go with the high flow cats . The test pipes are to loud and raspy . I dont think it would make all that much difference anyway .

Im talking about a Stillen dual exhaust and test pipes

It was probably raspy because you didnt get resonated TP's...

and the fact that the Stillen exhaust is prone to rasp with further modifications (HFC, TP's, headers)

The Stillen does have resonators on it [ mid way back ] but it is a loud exhaust . Going to a really free flowing exhaust will always cause rasp with this car . I guess you have to add more resonators [ more than one set ] to get it toned down
