Can I run a BOV

So I am doing research on all the different FI kits. I was wondering if I can run a BOV on any of the Supercharger kits. I want it for the soul purpose of the the sound because I loved it when I had a turbo on my Mazda. I suppose they are not really needed for a Supercharger because there isn't surge like there is with a turbo.

Thoughts??

I know my Vortech Supercharger on my Mustang had a BOV but it will not make the sound like a turbo. It is very subtle.

The Vortech has a bypass valve. Sounds more like a flutter than a BOV sound.

bov is not recommended for an SC in my opinion, and other professionals would agree with me also. If you want that noise, change your bypass valve to an aftermarket one. When I had my Procharger, I changed it to an HKS Bypass valve, at WOT you can here that thing its liek PSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEW.....but then now I got the hks sc, that thing sounds like a turbo haha even if I let go of the gas at low rpms it still makes a noise.

Someone on my jeep forums had a BoV on their supercharger and it sounded aweful when it wasn't boosting.. it will just like stay open and it was gay.

DM2 is a lie. Don't believe what you read.
