So how do you know you definitely need to upgrade your Tranny with TT but not sure with ST? So I don't need to upgrade my Tranny if I have a 600whp ST but I need a Tranny upgrade if I have 350whp TT?

To answer your question, it is the power/TQ your car is pushing that will dictate if you need to upgrade your tranny.

This is what I am going for on my car, this is a G35 with a TT setup.

Upgrading your tranny depends on how much Trq you have, it has nothing to do with hp.

I had 330 ft lbs of trq with my SC and never had problems and then I went TT and 400ft lbs trq and started to feel the tranny slipping.

I now have 510ft lbs trq and have a fully built tranny and an oil cooler and tranny cooler upgrade....no problems after 30,000 miles so far. Actually going in next Monday for more power so lets see what happens.

lol, u'r never gonna go SC/ST/TT for that kind of money.... expect $10,000 minimum for any kind of setup (and much more if you want to build the engine). and the valve body upgrade itself is close to $1000
