I just picked up a transgo kit from Oregon Performance for 245 shipped.

We'll see what it takes to get it installed here locally.

I bought the transgo kit from GTM FOR $250. I had it installed locally for $300.00 which included 7 quarts of type J fluid. The car is running flawlessly with TN kit pushing 322 hp on a mustang dyno.

Owner's name is Mike Murillo. Guy who tuned my car was Justin. He used to build some 400hp & 500hp Hondas in my neck of the woods. They definetly know their shiz concerning FI and turbo stuff. With some help from Mike at AAM and the guys at Turboxs the mustang guys got her done for me... Told them I wanted a car that could run high 12's in the quarter and be DD in San Antonio 100 degree heat with the AC on and NO ISSUES. Thats exactly what I got. Couldn't be more pleased. Sorry for thread hijack and the plug...

Do these upgrades actually decrease power loss (engine -> transmission -> wheels)? Any before/after dynos?

The Transmission Valve Body does nothing pro or con to power... its a shift kit. Quicker, crisper, more precise shifts for AT.
