Why go one or other when you can have a Turbo-Supercharger? It's alot cheaper and easier to install. Gogogo: You can get it off eBay here!

Like everyone said do a search....

But here is my quick two cents:

Go supercharger for a little more reliability and less cost, but less power.
Go turbo for more power and more cost.

Oh and anytime you "modify" a car from stock, it is never an investment, it is a black hole that only likes to consume more money than you can ever make. This is a hobby and must be treated as such.... expect to get less than 0.50 on the dollar for any type of hotrod or part.

EVERY form of FI will have problems. It is pretty much guaranteed. Once you venture into this territory, make sure you have back-up funds available to fix any potential problems (the worst being a blown motor). I would advise you to:

READ. READ. READ. READ, and read again. You can't learn too much, and it will only save and help you in the long run.

Also, super charges and turbos both are the same reliability wise. I've seen just as many blown motors with turbos as I have blowers. I have however, never seen a blown motor on a JWT TT setup (I'm sure there are some, just never heard of one personally).

I couldnt agree more Canadian. The only reason I said sc are a "little" more reliable is people cant (or wont) push them as hard.

I truly believe both sc and turbos can be reliable within reason.... it's all in the tuning. If you have a good tuner and you stay with a reasonable amount of boost and drive it like an adult, I dont think you'll have much trouble. But as with any form of motorsports you also have to have a little luck too...

I am going straight to twins for several reasons... I have experience with turbos, I am a fairly advanced mechanic, and (right now) I have the funds available to pretty much do what I want. I do all my own work and even some light fabrication, so I can usually fix any problem that arises. I come from drag racing 7-second 200mph cars, so I expect problems anytime you use FI and am used to working on them regularly, whether it be maintenance or fixing problems. Anyways, enough about me...... I am still trying to learn all I can about these cars, as I am new to imports.... so heed the advice and read and learn as much as you can.

^^I would agree to read, read, read, and research before you commit to anything.

I would also agree that there will be some sort of problems/gremlins with any F/I setup.

I disagree that turbo and supercharged setups are the same reliability wise. I don't want to start an argument, but everyone has an opinion I guess.

I'm sure there have been blown engines with the JWT TT. No setup is bulletproof, not even with a built motor.

IMO, the tune is often the most important aspect of how well your motor does down the line.

Don't cheap out on EMU/Fuel upgrades either.

Good luck.
