I think to be honest Japtrix dug them self into this situation... I have seen the quote floating around here some where " All shops make mistakes, but it how they take care of them that makes them great." or whatever.... I am pretty sure that almost any other mainstream shop on this forum when confronted with a problem has at least tried to deal with it.

When you have your tuner come on here who fully represents, you act like a complete idiot calling people names and posting pictures of crack; or when you have the owner tell people that they are lying and changing the tunes come up with every excuse to tell you why it didn't work except that they messed up. IMO japtrix is money hungry and does not care about customer service.

Performance factory - I know he sent one of his guys down here to fix a car free of charge.

Forged- I have seen Shariff take back motors that have failed and examine them to find out the cause.

GTM - Hell they have been working on Terry's car for months looking for the problem.

I could go on an on, but to be honest that only shows me that they do not stand behind there work. If they did when Mike first got his car on the dyno. There would have been a conversation about how his car was not making that much power and there must be a problem, not lets tune it with a broken blower get you to 300 give us your money and see you later.

That is a terrible business operation, and to be honest I do not want anyone I associate with going to some people that have business ethics like that. If you want to keep your doors open put the customer first.... Your reputation is the only thing that will keep you afloat.

Do you think the 400 or 500$ of the tune made you guys stronger, nope... If you would have fixed the problem you could have expanded your business 10 fold word of mouth and having a "fanboy club" supporting you.

My thing is I am not from fla. and when I was going to bring my prelude down there to get tuned. Almost everyone I talked to told me to stay away from japtrix. So if your name is bad out of state you must have done something wrong.

EDIT:

I took my car to japtrix and now the motor needs to be rebuilt.

What a shock.

Pissed off, really doesn't even start to cover it.

The dyno sheet is done as professional as you'd be treated for being a long loyal customer.

Okay I'm done ^_^ Promise!

For this thread... at least.

all other tram's gtfo...

The graph is a joke-- but I really am pissed that my motor is dead now. After being assured (by jack) that I would be fine with the tune that I left his shop with and on the amount of boost i was running

I think a direct quote would be

"its okay, you've got nothing to worry about man."

Gotta stand by your word. Right?
