Calling ALL JWT owners..need some info!
I'm looking at getting a new exhaust/test pipes/and or a down pipes. I only have a few questions...
This pipe:

Is what is included with the pipe, to my understanding this is the turbo outlet pipe. It goes from the turbos to the test pipes/cats.
Now, would I benefit at all going to a larger exhaust and test pipe? I want to go 3" all the way back, but what size is this pipe? If I get just a set of down pipes, will that replace this? Will it bolt straight up to the turbo? Can someone just give me a straight answer? I want the FI Dominator or APS exhaust, as they're both 3" all the way back.
I have the Megan v2 test pipes but they're only 2.3" or something. I am looking at the FI 3" test pipes as well, but if this outlet pipe will restrict me and create a bottle neck, I want to get a full down pipe, correct? Can someone who knows and is knowledgeable in this area help? It doesn't seem like that hard of a question, I just do not know.
Thanks!!

Jordan...
you are correct about those mainfold it is what attaches the to the exhaust housing of the turbo to the test pipe....
I am not sure about if any companies may a 3" downpipe for the jwt kit. I have the 3" down pipes which are AAM that mate up to the greedy turbos and then the 3" aps exhaust

You can modify the APS down pipe to fit the JWT turbos. PITA but Forged did a set for me - got rid of those tiny downpipes and put in 3.5" APS downpipes - these replace the downpipe AND test pipe. Lots of custom welding though to clear steering column etc...
In the end I put in CATS (big 4" ones) and I've decided it wasn't worth it doing so much custom work. The small turbos (even the 700bb are small) are the biggest exhaust restriction. My cats are the next biggest. The piping I have (3.5" down pipes + evoTT 2.75" exhaust) is not the weak link.
If I were to do it again, I'd either keep std HFC cats and the stock downpipes and loose 100 whp or put on the APS 3.5" pipes with no cats. Live and learn.

That is what I was getting at, glad you have first hand info

Okay, thanks guys.
The 3.5" APS downpipes then look like my best option. So, would Forged do something like that? Could they modify the bolt pattern to fit a JWT turbo? If they were to do something like that, will it bolt right up and I can just connect the exhaust?

So...
These:

and say the Fast Intention Dominator exhaust would be what I could do? Will the 3.5" pipes bolt straight up to a 3" exhaust? The dominator is the 3" FI exhaust, but its just not on their site yet, but THMotorsports has it.

Yes, but there is measuring, spot welding, testing, readjusting. It's an iterative process as I don't think they have a jig set up for this. You could ask Sharif though - I think he's back from SEMA. I would call and speak to Sandy. I bet he has too many emails/PMs to respond to by now...
The safest bet is to have a local exhaust shop do the work for you - bring them the parts. Just find someplace with a welder with a good rep. Make sure they measure and line things up so that the pipes line up to the stock mate up points for a cat back exhaust (in case you decide to change exhausts).
The APS 3.5" pipes taper down to 3".
EDIT: oh yes, on the driver's side, be sure to tell them to try turning the wheels before finalizing the welds on that side. I don't know how FP did it, but they have an indentation in the pipe to allow clearance for the steering knuckle.

Yup...thats the ones I use with my 850BB...also the sameone I used when I had the 700BB...Like Redash said....its not a bolt and go....lots of custom work to fit a 3.5" down pipe where a 2.5" pipe use to sit....but you gain so much power with the bigger ones that it worth the $$$$
