Other than telling them to put it back the way it was and not pay a dime I don't know that you have many options. Did you sign some type of agreement where they had a timeframe established? To me that would be your only option to push for compensation but I do feel for you. GL.

It can be done in a couple of days or even less depend on how much time they put in it. The problem is that most shop also have other cars that needed more attention. They wont tell you but they will always do the big project first. We all know things can go south real fast so if the car they are trying to finish went south then the entire lineup get pushed back. They have to be honest and let you know though, what they are trying to do is just not professional.

My greddy kit took 2 days, and that included a few custom exhaust mods. And then a couple days waiting for an appointment to get it tuned.

For a supercharger- I'd want it back the next day IMO.

i can totally understand that they have way more expensive cars therefore the parts for those cars cost more than my whole car but damn.... i even asked on october 16th if i could have by october 22nd( my birthday) and they said no problem for sure..i even missed game 2 of world series cuz of it on the 23rd. i said i would take somewhere else if couldnt do by then..ive also missed 3 events i wanted it for.... im even paying almost double what most shop should charge.....

guess i am just a little frustrated too...

They have people with $200,000 cars in there getting work done... who they know are going to spend more money with them so they want them to be the happiest they can be. Sad, but true. Mine was a supercharger install and it took about a month total. The about 6 months to clean it up, and another year before it was finally running right.

Give them a drop dead date in writing. If it's not done on that day, then show up with a wrecker and take it somewhere else and just pay them for what they did.

I dont agree with the 200k customers cars getting more attention.... IMHO, if the supercharger install is that simple, why not knock it out and make some quick cash for payroll and such? I run a business and that is the way I do it and have always done it, and it works quite well for me. There is no reason why (even with a packed shop) to not have it completed in 10 business days. Hell one guy working on it just a couple hours a day would have it all done sooner than that.... and as for making adjustment to stock parts.... they should already know about this and how to do it quickly.

Just my take guys.... bottom line, I'd be pissed and telling the shop owner about this.

why dont you just go to the shop and demand to see your car..that way you can see the progress on it. who knows..maybe they screwed something up??

Mine was installed within 2 days so something is def. not right and for them to not start the car in front of you sounds a little fishy also.
