So far our tranny has performed flawlessly. We are running a RPS carbon carbon clutch. We have made over 25 passes and dyno pulls at 900-1000+ RWHP.

Goodness the stock tranny must be one stout piece. No I have no plans or desire to run that kind of power. I just read that article and noticed no mention of tranny mods. Thanks for the answer

Not just any multi-disk clutch will do. I fried my Clutchmasters FX-600 (twin disk) the first time I tried launching hard at 500 hp.

I now have the Carbonetics tripple disk, and it is holding great so far. I did a 4500 rpm launch with 600hp, and the tires broke loose rather then the clutch, which is a good thing.
