The sedan got to 951 wheel horse power at 30 psi.
The car makes approximately 1300HP to the crank with the TH400 trans!!
Final Number: 951whp @ 30psi
There is a lot of room left in this setup. The turbos won't lose their efficiency until well into the high 30psi realm if not higher. This will be an excellent start to get Vlad deep into the single digits.

The cost of building a 10 second VQ motor is 2-4x that of just doing a LS swap and 100 times more prone to failure.
Plus when you do run into a problem on your monster VQ build, there is only 2-3 shops in the country that can fix it. While just about every shop there is knows how to work on a LS motor.
Plus when you do a 800-1000 hp VQ, pretty much every single part is custom and expensive as can be. While parts for a 800-1000 hp LS motor can easily be found on the shevles and relativly inexpensive.
Plus sound. No matter what you do to a VQ it will never sound as good as a V8.

I can agree with you this time. The problem with an LS swap in a VQ car is that the car wont retain a lot of factory functions and actually it will be more expensive to replace because it has a lot of custom work to make it work.
The problem GM has is that they put decent motors in heavy cars with the exception of the Corvette. The G8 and Camero are a waste of useful horsepower. But the VK56 is still better than a 6+ liter LS.

^ You're also comparing a push rod OHV V8 with only .6l of displacement more to a DI, DOHC v8. I'd say the difference is not that much. Plus, the weight of the camaro is not that bad. It only weighs ~200lbs. more than a G37 Coupe, and it's got 100hp more. Here the Coyote on the same Dyno the SS and the M56 were tested on. No DI, and .6L less than the VK.
All 3 of these engines are pretty close to each other, and they all accomplish a similar end result, they just go about it in a different way.
And it is still cheaper to mod an LS than the VK.

Actually a LS swap retains every single factory function and requires very little to no custom work. Hinson Supercars makes a VQ to LS swap kit for the 350Z and G35 for only 5k (you provide motor and trans). Come with every single thing you need including motor mounts, custom driveshaft, exhaust, and even do the Infiniti to GM ECU wiring. They even provide unlimted technical help for doing the swap.
They actually will do a full turn key build for you as well which even includes dyno/tuning. Cost is about 20k. Still SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than doing a stroker VQ motor. Plus you would have a much stronger bottom end and overall twice the potential.
I promise you I could have them do a full LS swap with custom turbo for less than 30k, pushing 800 hp easily. While my friend Christian paid 25k for a GTM twin turbo kit and that is still stock block. XKR is well known on here, he has a 1008hp G35 coupe and has reciepts to show all the work to get to that point. He has spent over 80k in engine modifications (including quite a bit of sponsoring), while SpyderZ has only about 20k into his LS2 powered. (I believe he is now upgrading it to a LSX).
