You dont need to upgrade to 20G to reach your goal.. 18G is good for 500+whp. At 400-500whp you dont need a twin carbon clutch either, it is nice to have but not necessarily.

As I'm sure the other members will chip in their .02 cents...I would recommend you research each of those individual parts and pricing to see where you can get the best deal. They quoted you on the R & R already, theres no reason to buy all the parts from them as I'm sure you can get them cheaper from different vendors on this site alone. Also do your research on the shop. Have you seen any other vehicles they've done? Have they lasted? Any avoidable problems arise? And whatever you do...don't let anyone know what your "budget" is. They will always make sure to take you for all of it.

For Example:

Clutch : http://www.optionimports.com/excaseclkiti.html - 2227.50 - figure 2300 with shipping... YAY! you save $100..more money for gas...

ARP Head Bolts : https://www.horsepowerparts.com/inde...&product_id=25 - $149.... YAY! save enough for plenty of new underwear for when you wet yourself with all the new boost..

Turbo XS Utec - http://jbkperformance.com/turbo_xs/t...c/i-61660.aspx - $798 - YAY! put the extra $100 towards the new tires you'll need

Just a couple of examples bud, don't like to see any member get bent over and dry pumped.. seems like you've done plenty of research already just don't take the first offer thrown at ya....

Chino out...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

First off...what shop are you talking about

If you can get all this done for 19K....go for it...Under 8K for a Greddy 20G?? Why not? But that Utec...I would not waste my time with it. You can always find a used EMS for sale on here or my350Z.

Those prices are on the high side, I would also recoment doing you research on the shop heavily before doing anything.

Prices defiantely sound high. You should be able to shave offbetween 5k and 8k on this build.

If you just want 400-500whp then Utec should be enough. The problem with Utec is the resolution in high boost application, at 10-12psi you can get to you goals and Utec should have enough resolution for that. If you want close to 600whp then Utec isnt going to cut it (Not that you cant make it work) because you'll be around 18-20psi to get there. Having said that, your build should be able to handle 500+whp so you might as well get a better EMS, just my .02

Parts seem a bit pricey but the labor seems like a really good deal... like someone else said that clutch might be overkill and harder to drive than you need.

What about gauges, fuel return, plugs, and most importantly the tune?
