P1122 & p1126

Both these codes just popped up the other day while I was idling letting the car warm up. I already found the code definitions so theres no need to repost them here. Throttle body position relay and actuator malfunction I guess. I did some searches and most people say their car goes into limp mode and they need a new TB...mine is running perfectly fine and still idles and bones out just fine. I'm taking it back to the shop soon for an checkup anyways but just curious if anyone has any experience with these codes.

Do you guys mean the serpentine and TB. Are they easier to change in these cars or something? I recently had mine to crack severely and I onll have 40,738 miles on my 2004 at the time when they caught it it was like 38,500 or something.

He gave me the bad belts but I swear it took and hour to fix. In my experience I thought changing the TB and serpentine belt would take 4ever !

on .........I think I may have said some things wrong or used incorrect jargon. I work in accounting not the garage.

Mine just threw the codes up the other day and the car wouldnt rev.I pulled off the side of 695(in rush hour btw)and restarted the car....drove fine and cleared the codes the next day.
So far so good but i do have a spare TB in the trunk with tools just in case.

I had the same exact codes you had. And I just continue droving and full throttling it all day with no problems what so ever Weird huh? But after I got a re-tune by a better tuner it went away, not saying that tuning had to do with these codes at all.

Pretty sure they are referring to the throttle body and not the timing belt.

Naw pretty sure the tune can't cause this, most likely the combination of 15 degree weather and murphy's law. Either way it's fine now after resetting the ECU. If it pops up again I'll swap out the TB.

Did ur codes come on like a second after starting it up or after running a while?
