I get 15-18 at 6psi - conservative tune bone stock and vortech.
If $ is so tight that you need to worry about mpg, FI isnt for you bc boost is a gateway drug.
An M3 V8 can get 19mpg and a prius (worse environmental impact to produce) can get 17mpg its how u drive it - Top Gear proven

Actually if you use stock NAV you will be WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY off
That is based on load and vaccuum. no more vaccuum when under load when FI, its positive pressure. I love watching mine while in boost and see the leaf peg at 40mpg and the mile till empty starts climbing lol
The instantaneous mpg still works when you are just like cruising on the highway at a constant speed.
I don't even want to tell you how low mine gets on the 30psi tune lol

Are you using your Navi to estimate this? Nav is not going to be accurate once you mofied your fuel system because your injector is going to be bigger or if you have a stock injector and FMU then fuel pressure is different. You guys are lying to your self if you believe you get more mileage with FI!! If you are not boosting then maybe but if you are on boost then there is no way in hell because your A/F alone is going to be in the 11's and there is also more air being pumped in the motor.
OP, gas mileage is the last thing you should worry about with FI!!! If that is your main concern then go get a 4cyl civic!!

I think this topic was covered over a year ago, just search and you will get your answer.
I get 21 mpg with my TT setup and that is mixed driving with small amounts of boosting here and there.

made 769rwhp with very little timing only on 110 leaded......has about 8psi and a lot of timing in it still for C16 fuel......we may go for the stock sleeve record before xkr finishes his new setup lol..

I got worse mileage than that before I went TT. Did you swap your internals out with a Prius?

lololol, and so if i have it set to approz 8 or 10 psi, i can floor the car without worrying rite?
