its has nothing to do with the experience of the tuner. the resolution of the UTEC is your max boost divided by 9. that simple. sure it will run, but your control is like doing surgery with an ax. sure it might work, and its your motor, not mine, but its not the optimum solution.
alot can go wrong with 2 psi jumps.

i run 600whp tune on 100 oct. with no issues on utec(550whp on 93 oct). I think it has alot to do with the experience of the tuner and whether or not you are willing to pay for a good tune. even though the tuner has a tt setup similar to mine, he only used that as a baseline for tuning my car. i think sometimes people sell the utec short because its not as expansive as the standalones.
