Good buy?

Hey guys im looking to buy a vortech tuning kit this fall but have recentely came across a guy selling some parts that i think my help. Wondering if this is a good buy.

Mrev2(id buy regardless)
Alphawerks Headers
Utec

All parts off a 350.

for 1000 dollars. Also he said hed throw in some resonated test pipes if i took the other 3 items.

I think it seems like a fairly good deal, although i will admit i dont know much about the utec. Is there a certain one i need or are they all the same and i just get different software for it somewhere?

Any help would be great!

not a bad deal seeing as how the parts new would be around $1900, see if he'll go lower though.

MREV new is ~$400
UTEC new is ~$900
Alpha headers new are ~$600, but I think they are discontinued.

Now, these are new prices. I've seen MREV's here for $300, Utecs for $500, and used headers are all over the charts depending on what you get.

EDIT: Headers are a PITA to install. Get ready for some cut knuckles and bruises.

Not a bad deal at all. If you are going Vortech later and want headers now I say get them. As for the UTEC, it is a great tool to have but I would hold off on any tune until you boost it. N/A gains from a tune are not that high and if you are going to change in 6 months or so just sit on it.

Ya i didnt plan on installing the UTEC until i got the vortech anyways. Are alphawerks headers any good? Ive researched a bit and they seem to be after Strupp and Nismo, is this fairly accurate?
