BTW, whatever happened to the Dreamworkes S/C? That was the one I was most interested in b/c it offered a roots-style setup w/o having to replace/modify the hood - but I haven't heard anything of that for a few months...

Re: HKS Supercharger *DELETED*
back on the HKS supercharger . . . I talked to my freind at HKS today and tried to find out why the s/c kit did not fit the sedan, here's my report:
1.) they tried to fit the kit up to the sedan they USED to own (an early 03 AT w/o elec. fans), he thought all sedans had the same type of fans - I let him know what was up and that all sedans would now come w/ elec. fans - 1 point for me
2.) HKS now owns a mt coupe - thier own test bed - point 2 for me
3.) HKS is developing a kit for the FX35 as we speak
4.) the main difference between all the kits is the intake piping - so if you want to fit up the coupe kit to the sedan (w/ elec. fans) its possible but understand you'll need some intake piping modification. - point 3 for me
5.) my freind has been the bird in the ear of the higher ups to try to go ahead with the development for the sedan kit (but it will only be available for those with elec. fans) and of course I'm trying to be the fitment/measure car . . - 4 points for me
so as I use my fingers and toes to add up the points I get 21 points in my favor, what do you guys get?
Hope this helps all sedan owners in their quest for a slice of forced induction heaven, but you know how this industry goes, we'll see what happens, I'm not holding my breath - I guess if you sedan people are intersted - contact HKS and start asking questions, maybe the'll understand that us sedan owners are just as deep as the coupers
(. . . no I don't have 21 fingers/toes, heh)

Re: HKS Supercharger
Yup ... definitely looks like a slick package there! I'll be keeping my eyes on how this kit progresses.
Word has it the MAF will go before the compressor, which is a far more elegant approach compare to all the other known FI applictations for the Z33 platform. There'd be no guess work in trying to figure out how much air was injested and consequently playing hide and seek with the MAF signals.
There's also rumor there may be a "Off Road Use" upgrade that'll bring more boost and presumably non-CARB certified.
Very sweet!

correct is : H(s) = ∫ h(t) exp(-st) dt

Have you heard any OFFICIAL words from them yet. What the gains will be for the G coupe, etc.
