Eckoultd87's Greddy TT Install: Another Boosted G!
this was an awesome car to work on! thanks for choosing us fernando! hurry up and lets do the bottom end. we retuned justins car with the new kinetix replacement manifold last night. did 538whp and 525wtq @ 15.5-15.8 psi! conservative tune. no knock, ignition timing dead on! af right at 11.4-11.5! this was on just built bottom end, stock heads no port or anything!
also, the greddy kits dont just come with the 20g's. tuner kit comes with the 20g's. you can ask for the 20g's on the full kit, but its extra money.
lils: prices you got seems to be pretty much dead on but i believe you are leaving out the fmic. if you can get it at that price with the fmic let me know who you are getting it from, cause i will start buyin it them. also, the installation is pretty much dead on. but with our installation we throw in a few reliability mods in for free! lmk when you are ready!

this has been talked about amongst alot of tuners and also shops. really depends on the condition of the motor before being boosted and also really depends on the tune. couldve pushed the car a lil more aggressive on the af side, but didnt due to wanting a more reliable tune. we have a car coming up thats another g35 non revup that we will be pushing to 440whp and see how long it lasts. im sure we gonna pop a rod out the side of the block, but we gonna clock it and see how long it takes. this car i am talking about did 374whp and 336wtq @4.3psi with stock cats in place on 440cc, 18g kit, fmic, walboro, and utec, and stock clutch.
Man ever since I went with Fernando to test drive the car I can't get FI outta my mind!
In due time though, gotta get the job situation sorted out first. I do have some ideas/plans that i wanna run by you. Next time Fernando goes out to the shop i'll be sure to stop by as well.

I vote K2!

Eric has an option where you can keep your OEM grille on. The carbon fiber lip is subtle and would flow nicely with your CF mirrors and diffuser.
Would really keep your G looking sporty and aggressive... and of course increased airflow.

and we're all going like this

Your best bet would be to contact some of the vendors/shops and ask them what their going rate is on parts and labor.
Many variables to consider here
- For one what type of goals do you have in mind for the car...street use, daily driver, track only...
...Next: the kind of power goal you have in mind...
When you're ready you'll have some choices to make....read FI for noobs thread ASAP
Decide what kind of FI you want...SC, ST, TT.
Will you want to spray (Nitrous) or no?
Then consider costs of....
1. stock motor or built?
2. 5AT or 6MT...5AT must add a few more mods for safe trans operation (vb, tc, trans cooler)
3. The kind of fuel system
4. Your EMS (engine management system...reflash, piggyback, standalone)
5. Guages???
6. Tires & Wheels (wider for more grip)
7. Bigger brakes (at some point you're going to need something strong enough to handle the new power)
That's just the beginning. As you can see the costs can quickly add up.
Rule of thumb around here is Pick 2 / 3
1. Fast
2. Reliable
3. Cheap
but you can't have 3....
Rule 2:
Take whatever budget you think you'll have to spend and double that....
Just like you I'm stuck in saving mode right now before I make the jump.
Just trying to read, network and learn as much as I can about FI.
Best part...quite a few people are willing to help you if you ask around
Keep digging. You'll know exactly how much its going to cost you once you figure out exactly what you're going to do FI wise with your car
