Are there any 500+whp Supercharged G's or 350Z's?

I reached 440rwhp awhile back but like it has been stated before to get to 500rwhp there was issues with belts getting chewed up and we did not have the GTM pulley mod available back then.

There is one or 2 cars which have reached that level Dsports comes to mind but I think he converted to TT also.

I just saw the issue of the amount of money to invest to get to that level out weighed the power gained so I too converted to a TT setup.

because if you are going to high hp number or want to achieve those numbers, on our cars it is better to throw on a TT system or a huge ST to get the nice whp #'s but also the ft/tq #'s as well.

If someone's done it already, how exactly did they go about it?
You'll never see 500 rwhp and 500 ft/lbs in that order on a supercharger. The torque is usually lower, which is a benefit depending on who you talk to.
With the mods in my sig, I'm making 466 rwhp/389 ft/lb. I can get 500 rwhp, but it would just be for bragging rights. It's hard enough enjoying 466 rwhp without getting in trouble. I would upgrade the stock cats, try a new plenum, upgrade the blower (T-Trim) and a new tune of course. That should be worth more than 34 rwhp. My current tune is pretty conservative on a built block for longevity reasons.

Oh, I don't have a sig...

I have a GTM long block with NA Cams, Stillen TD, Vortech SC with 2.87 pulley making 11 psi, HKS FCON VPRO, 800 cc injectors, and Walbro 255.

legit set up deang335c6. i ditched my vortech set up when i started building my extra block. 500/500 wont be had with a vortech set up. yes the 500whp can be attained with a s/c but its easier with a tt set up.

btw, deang35c6, is your first or last name dean? my last name is dean. and im in SD. kinda crazy.

Nice! Deang, did you upgrade the fuel injectors during the install of your SC or afterward?

Actually, Dean is my middle name.

500 RWHP is not a problem on a built block. Just upgrade the blower for $1500 when you send it in for rebuild. It's good for 14 psi. I think the piping and intercooler may need to be upgraded. I would never push 14psi through a stock block. LIke I said, the SC will never see 500 ft/lb though.

I remained on the stock 380's all the way thru the 3.12 pulley and 9 psi. I had the 800's put in during the build.

What SC would you go with for 500-600whp ( assuming one could get to 600whp )?

A big @ss one...

Gotta remember that the GTO, Vette, etc making that kind of power are doing with with almost twice the displacement of the VQ.

Not sure if a T-Trim would hit 500whp on 14psi. At least not on pump gas. My twins made 538 on 14psi on 91.

What internals are u running? Maybe u should consider stroking ur built motor and then reappyling everything with a big tune and boost. to see what kind of numbers come out..only if you really want to stay SC..if not best bet is to TT..I am personally getting the V3 and I am only going to run it about 9-10psi tops..looking at the 450rwhp/400ft.lb..gL

Correct...but my comparison was TC V8 vs. SC V8 since they both make similar power while TC VQ vs. SC VQ doesn't. Can't compare the VQ to an LS1/LS2 though.

Is there anywhere that I can get a tuner kit with the T-trim or must I buy a regular kit and then upgrade?

BTW- race gas is not a problem.
