Quick update to this thread. For people who did not know the SP 350z is stock displacement at 3.5L with a 9000RPM redline and 1248WHP/900rwtq on a mustang dyno.

Motor is currently being redone, and larger turbos going on too (yea 1248rwhp isn't enough bring on the 76mm billets!!!!!)

from all the dyno's i've seen, mustang is the closest to a Dynodynamics.

dunno how they plan on fitting those 76mm in there. 62s with E covers were tight enough

1248 whp on a Mustang dyno is really impressive. Is there any progress pics of the motor being redone?

What are the expected results with twin 76s? 1400+?

Huh?

This car has been deep in the 9's at almost 160mph (with a 6spd) on shakedown runs.....

what components did you use in the engine build? This is downright sick!

To the top.

They used Pauter rods, stock crank, Injected Performance girdle, and Wiseco pistons they are listen in the vid. Either way this car broke the gear off the oil pump and also sheered the splines off one of the axles, the differential did not break. The axles were aftermarket built and the oil pump was a Revup pump that revved to 9000RPM so it was expected to break.

Not many people are going to be revving to 9k, at least not on a street application. So you should be ok. Remember this car was basically an R&D setup so basically when the motor was on, it was being pushed...be-it 1xxx dyno pulls, or 9sec 1/4 passes at almost 170mph.
