Where to Mount Catch Can

Hey folks, I got the NRG catch can to help with my pressure problem, but I can't find anywhere to mount that thing. I have seen a couple of members mount them on their sides ontop of the radiator fan shield. Is it OK to mount on its side/back? The drivers side of the engine bay is filled by the Vortech, and the passanger side has a spot, but I would need to get a replacement for the current Overflow tank.

So what do you guys do?

I replaced my PS tank and have the oil catch can right next to it on the passenger side of the motor. Removed my hood sensor bracket too.

I have my oil catch can mounted to the top of the radiator fan shroud. this weekend I'm going to mount it on top of the intercooler behind the grill.

Are you putting it Horizontal or Vertical? I had it sitting there this weekend, looking at that as an option, but I figured it wouldn't be easy to get the lines up there, and I figured the longer the lines, the less effective it would be. But maybe not...

I plan on mounting it horizontally. I have one port from the catch can going to turbo intake tube. I'll be making a bracket so the catch can sits right above the intercooler.

Mine is mounted on top of my radiator. I don't have the fan shroud because I have a 50mm radiator. I have the WR one, cut it in half and divided it into two, now half is a crank case vent and half is a catch can.

Mike Norris Motorsports sells a catch can that is very well designed. It attaches with a single bolt to the front of the timing cover area.
