well i am going to be getting a g35 coupe here soon.. i want to know if i should wait for the 05 but i also want to get the greddy TT and i dont know if the engine format is going to be the same as the 04 does anyone know if it will fit or am i going to have to wait for a new TT to be designed for the 05

 

i doubt that it will make a difference, but hey... they are gonna have to get those 15-20 ponies from doing SOMETHING under the hood... i dont think anyone knows whether it will fit it or not... infiniti hasnt released exact spect on the car yet... we all jsut know that they are saying its gonnna have a different gear box, different gauges/interior, different wheels available, and 15+ extra horses, and we dont even KNOW that for sure because everything is still up in the air with the 2005

I talked to the my dealership today and they claim that the power is found in the ECU and that there will be NO difference in the engine. This is the same dealership that told me there is a performance chip availible for the G that makes more power by allowing the engine to rev to 13K rpm. (they really did tell me this).

when the engine revs to 13k rpms does it sprout wings and fly? how bout a snorkle to go under water? Ask them if they can super charge ur g and get u running 2000+hp to the wheels. If they are gettin VQ35's to rev at 13k they must be legit haha

No, there are no wings, and unfortunately no snorkle. What happens is at 12,500 RPM it activates the time machine. Once you hit 13,000 the flux capacitor is fully charged, and if there happens to be a lighting storm nearby....

The only drawback is that the time machines interface is THROUGH the stock navi, so if you opted NOT to get the Navi you have no control as to when and where you will go. My salesguy informed me that Infiniti lost two engineers before they realized the problem....

lol wtf? I think you called the Infiniti Motorcycle Division. They might of been talking about their G35R2W soon to be realeased. It's supposed to be a 350cc 2 stroker with oil injection that will kick any liter bikes ***.

 

so on another note... is the greddy tt the best FI to go with? i mean what is everyone most imprest with?

I didn't call anyone, I was AT the dealership talking about FI. The guy is nuts, there is NO way that that is possible, I just thought it was funny that a guy AT the Infiniti dealership who SELLS Infiniti cars would think something like that would be possible.

I prefer Superchargers over turbos because of cost, installation difficulty, maintanance, and because turbos don't add enough performance to justify the other areas of concern.

Unless you are planning on rebuilding the entire motor and running 20psi go with a supercharger....
