what is the estimate price for a Vortec SC for a Sedan? How much should i plan to pay for installation? Finally, what type of yearly maintenance should i expect with a blower? Thanks

 

Grubbs has the best price I've seen for a Vortech.(I bet there's better)

Do you think you can handel installing yourself? That's up to you!

I Think you need to do more research. Go to the freshalloy fourm and read all the problems people have been having with FI and the maintainance involved. The cost is more then you think.

 

There haven't been too many problems. The biggest thing with vortech is the fuel and oil lines not being clamped good or splitting.

its worth it, IMO

problems exist, but if you look with a broader sense of things (and having installed, owned, and tuned the same kit in question), you'll find there's alot of issues with INSTALL error, or mistuning of the setup.

i spent alot on the two mapping sessions i had, and suggest the same for anyone else wanting oem-like operation (with just ALOT MORE speed and power)

Call Mike at Superchargers4less. They have the best prices and their service is excellent.
Install will cost you $1000-1500. Plus you need about $600 worth of gauges.
There is no extra maintenance other than filter and oil changes.
