Thumbs up 10.99 or bust

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be up and running at 100% as of Tuesday/Wed.

Had the motor built a few weeks ago, but I definitely don't have enough fuel to get any HP out of it. So I will fill in those blanks at my sig soon.

My Ultimate goal with this car is a 10.99 ET 1/4 mile. I'm probably a year or so away from it- but I won't stop till I get it done.

I had a 11.8 or so in my last set up- I'm hoping I should be able to squeze a 11.5 or 6 out of this set up.

I'm expecting to get 420whp on a 5at (VB, cooler, 3300stall) on a mustang ball busting dyno. I'm really going to be pushing the HP limits on my tranny- but it's only 10,000 miles old- and will be doing a full build on it in two months or so.

I'm excited for my 60' and 1/8 mile times with this new set up. It's so much fun having all this power on slicks... And mind yall- My tune was A FU-CKING JOKE the last time I was at the track.

I'll post dyno sheets here on wed. and timeslips shortly after. on

Eric

wait aren't you the guy who complained about Japtrix blowing your motor and complained for a very lengthy thread about how they do $hit work?

How come "Tuned by Japtrix" is still in your sig?

Because Japtrix is tuning it. The previous "tuner" and "owner" are gone... and the shop is back to one of the best guys in the business.

You should look up one of my last threads.. "SOFLA Its okay to go back to japtrix"

But that's all over and done- we're talking about me going fast now.

After. We'll see what i post. I don't THINK i'll need a cage right away. Definitely on the list though- After the tranny build. I'm redo-ing the inside with a cage.

I think you meant...

The previous "tuner" and "one of the previous owners" are gone...

Roger C has always owned Japtrix. I beleive he brought in Roger A. as a business partner about 4 or 5 years ago, but Roger A. and Jack have now opened their own shop.

so you are expecting to push around 800 hp?

good luck. you'll be the 1st on a nissan tranny to do that I bet. Pretty much any of the 800+ autos are on a t400 or something tranny.

Jtram you must have some big upgrades planned in the next year to hit that mark, shaving off over a second is going to require a few more $. Good luck I cant wait to see the first video.
