That's what I got on wed. ^ But it's far from my best time- Which points at having the wrong tire set up.. Which was REALLY easy to feel.

I did a good burnout and I was running about 15psi cold.

But that's only because of weather issues-- and I only got one run in.. again because of weather.

I'm going to get some 275 60? 15s BFG radials and see whats up.

I did get a really cool picture though right before it started raining!

Looks better at 12 megapix but- you get the idea.

So what did you run? Why would you want to go from a true slick to a drag radial?

More support down the back half of the track. I should be trapping way higher than 112~

I ran low 12s. It's hard to describe how the car felt down the track. It was just very clear that my tire set up is wrong.

You trapped 112? If so, there is a lot more wrong than just your tire setup. I trapped 111mph and ran mid 12's on my Grand Prix with nearly 100whp less, regular 225 wide street tires and weighing in at about 3500lbs. Hope you fix whatever problems you may be having.

How much do G coupes weigh? I'd guess with a TT kit and all the other stuff added in it's in the 37-3800lbs?

They weight a little over 3400lbs. Even if he did weigh 3800lbs, his car should AT LEAST be trapping 116-118mph unless he's either getting massive wheel spin or bogging severly off the line.

He ran before 3. Jtrain -----------04 - Coupe -- 5AT - Greddy TT --------------- Stock Block - 12.071@112.05 -- 1.772 60ft - Verified --- Slicks

Doubt this is a new set of slicks, I wager his trans is gonna give on him soon.

I think there is more to it also as I ran 11.775 with a non aggressive 60ft. I was also on street tires which are pretty much slicks now as there is hardly any tread left on the rear tires.

I did not get a time slip as I was stopped at the end of the track when returning to collect it by one of the Marshall's and told to leave I had no helmet and they also said I need a 4 point harness seat belt when going faster then 11.99

Oh well.

My dyno numbers compared to Jtrain are 456rwhp and 510ftlb trq on pump gas at 14psi.

Maybe the trq is helping me more than I thought but I have no idea, I am just babying off the start because I don't know if the stock axles can take a hard launch.

I wouldn't be surprised honestly. I've been thinking of not going back out there until I finish the trans build. My car has been broken for so long. I don't need to break it again.

I'd like to think I weigh about stock. I've a little weight reduction :/

Wot from a dig is a more abusive than wot on a dyno, load based dyno or not. I can see it losing efficiency before it starts to feel like it's slipping.

I had a 5AT so I feel your pain.

Its a vicious cycle homie, fix one thing break another. Just have fun along the way.

One thing I find funny though. Srt8 cherokees and other monsters have some stout as trannys. 55 MBs are gangsta when built.

Yeah, When their built. It really feels shakey to me with the power it's gone.

I'm starting to wonder if this 5AT is really the route to go, or if I should just stick a clutch in there for 600wheel +

Do we know a shop that can make this tranny a ****ing tank?
