Well in my case the problems were completely beyond my control, APS Manifolds cracked back in october 2008 and I decided to get a GTM kit which ended up being a huge hassle and my car still isnt running yet

I hear ya. What are the issues with your GTM kit? And what were the reasons you ditched the APS kit?

It was just one thing after another, no real problems with the kit itself (besides some alignment and clearance issues) There were just numerous fluke incidences that delayed the hell out of everything.

I ditched the APS kit because I wanted more power, I guess thats what I get for being greedy

I hear ya. Have you gotten the GTM kit to work on the car yet?

nope, it fired up and the brand new turbos immediately started smoking. Pulled the turbos off and the turbine housing was filled with oil on both turbos. Packaged them up and shipped them to GTM 4 weeks ago and they still havent came back

^ dam why is there so many problems going on with built motors.. I don't even see hardly the amount of issues going on with people runing turbos on their stock block? weird.

we build our motor to have a piece of mind now its feels like that’s not even the case anymore.

I have had absolutely no issues with my engine at all, the only issues I have had have stemmed from poor quality control of turbo kits
