boost leak??

hi i got 05 g35 sedan auto with vortech s/c 8 month ago now i am getting low boost on my guage show 6psi at 6000 rpm in manuel and auto mode shifting, and 7000 rpm i shift to next gear i feel like i hit a wall for a second then it goes. it was not happening when i had s/c install. I take my car to shop they did boost leak test and there is no leak no belt slipping. Please some one give a advise what is the problem i will thanks alot.

Ofcourse it will bounce out from 7000rpms, that's over your redline...And 6psi at 6000rpms with 3.33 pulley. That sounds about right. 3.33 pulleys is 7~8psi. i wouldn't worry if it's 1psi.

Well, i had similar problem with my kit, and mine flattens at 5lbs. I replaced my bypass since I suspect it of not holding boost. I installed an HKS bypass, direct fit and sounds nicer IMO. and pretty much full boost again. You should be able to tell the difference when you're missing a few lbs of boost because those last few is when it's really pulling hard, but instead it hits a wall like you describes. I suggest you take out the bypass out and just test the diaphram. Mine was pretty soft and you can easily push it open with little pressure. goodluck
