2 G or NOT 2 G, there is no question!

dont worry bro.I had a dud also.they replaced it and it has been kickin for 5000 miles now.I'm also gettin them to do the stage 4(larger injector 8lbs boost headers and test pipes) along with custom tuning.

That sounds promising although I am pissed at not having my car back for the weekend, I was hoping to show it at the weekend at this charity thing. This is the second f'up by Stillen, they sent the wrong plenum the first time and so I had to wait another week ...

Still, already sounds awesome and that was only revving to about 4k, can't wait ....

Does your whistle sound as loud as in the video ?

with the windows down & the throttle wide open,it hits a high pitched whissle a few time through the rpm's.I think around 4000 & 5500. people turn around cause they think its an emergency vehicle.the whissle gets louder when you up the boost.

Another page in the saga .....

New ECU arrived from Stillen, got the thing all wired in, still the same result ... let's just say that my patience is wearing thin ...

One piece of information is that my car is an 04/04 and the latest update on the ECU is 04/04 so there is a really good chance that this ECU is not compatible with new G's, which would be a real bummer ....

Another update, now that we have the RIGHT schematic (ie not for the 350z) the car is up and running, I will be picking it up tomorrow at 10am ....

If you have any type of air filter that uses oil,check the air flow sensor.Mine clogged up once,oil on the air sensor made my car stall.

It's done, sounds awesome, just waiting for the ECU to re-learn how you are supposed to drive the car :-)

Hey peoples, did a few videos last night, seat of the pants dyno says about 290whp, but I'm dynoing on monday ...

wtf???

I've got the same setup and dyn'd in at 331.2 with stock intake and stock exhaust???

Im sure the dyno will say more than that.....

if you went from 230rwhp to 290rwhp, for 8000 dollars, that sucks!!!!! Might as well just smoked all the money away. I truly hope that the dyno proves otherwise, or there is something definately wrong with your installation. This kit should yield about 315-330rwhp.

:-) as I said butt-dyno, I am sure it is more but I don't want to get my hopes up too high :-)

My car is still low milage (2700) so the stock ECU could still be pulling timing at the top end ....

Also, never driven a 400hp car before so no reference point, and, it does seem to be getting faster by the day ...

I can assure you are making more than 290hp, you car is pulling very strong through 2nd and 3rd gear. Your power comes on a lot difference than the vortech. My car becomes a handful after 4000 rpm where yours just seems to pull strong the whole time. I'm very impressed with your videos. I need more. I'd like to see a hp/rpm power curver for your setup. I bet your making 320 hp at 4000-4500 rpms.
